Congratulations to Stefanie Gordillo on being named Athlete of the Week!
Note from the coach: Stefanie is our senior centerback on the girls varsity soccer team. This is Stefanie's first year playing with us, and her impact has been swift and grand. She stepped into a leadership role immediately, and as a result, she was named a captain. She constantly encourages her teammates and has an infectious enthusiasm throughout every practice and game. As our centerback, Stefanie leads our defensive line, directing them and pushing them to work hard no matter the score. As our last defender, Stefanie has made tremendous plays to keep the other team from reaching the goal. She is strong on the ball, and is willing to take on any player, no matter their size. She has been an integral part to our team both on and off the field, and her presence will sorely be missed next year.
