Middle School Sports begin September 4 with a Parents/Players/Coaches meeting at 6:00 pm in the Pierson Auditorium. The meeting will count as the first practice. Only those who attend will be placed on a roster.

Dear Student Athletes and Parents: In preparation for the fall sports season, FamilyID registration will be open beginning July 19. Sign up for the following fall sports: boys and girls soccer, boys and girls cross country, golf, girls tennis, girls swimming, football, field hockey, girls volleyball. You can access FamilyID through the Athletics webpage of the Sag Harbor UFSD website. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Athletic Office. As a reminder: All student-athletes must have an updated Physical Examination completed each school year and on file with the school nurse to be eligible to participate on athletic teams. If you missed the school physicals that were held in June, please schedule your physical with your family physician. We hope to see many students participating in a fall sport. Enjoy your summer! Varsity Athletics Awards Location: Sag Harbor Elementary School Gymnasium Reception for Varsity Student Athletes: 5:30 PM Athletics Awards Ceremony: 6:00 PM

Dear Parent/Guardian, As you are aware, the Athletic Awards Ceremony was originally scheduled to take place on June 13 at 7:00 pm in the elementary school gymnasium. Due to the varsity boys baseball team advancing to the State tournament the ceremony was moved to 5:00 pm in order to allow the baseball team to travel to Binghamton New York immediately after the ceremony, in order to ensure that the baseball team would arrive in Binghamton at a reasonable hour. Earlier today the administrative team decided to move the start time to 6:00 pm. This start time allows parents to complete their work day and attend their child’s award ceremony. The baseball team will leave immediately after the event. The later departure time should not change the team’s arrival time in Binghamton, due to there being less traffic on the roads. There will be a mandatory meeting Thursday, June 13 during Academic Support in the high school gym for current 6th through 11th grade girls interested in playing JV or varsity basketball.

Please note the time change for the Varsity Athletic Awards Ceremony on June 13. Due to the baseball team advancing to the State Final Four the Athletic Awards Ceremony has been moved up with the reception beginning at 4:30 and the awards beginning at 5:00 pm.

Reminder: Sports physicals for the 2019-20 school year are taking place Monday, June 10 in the Pierson Nurse's office beginning at 2:15. No appointment necessary.

The next varsity baseball game will be the South East Regional Championship on June 8. Time, opponent and location to be determined.

Today's middle school track meet is postponed per Center Moriches. However, we will still hold practice this afternoon from 2:52 - 4pm.

The JV Softball game at Wyandanch scheduled for today has been cancelled.
